Then, at the age of nine, he had a life-changing experience: he went for a spin in his first Ferrari, a 1960 Rosso Chiaro 250 SWB.

Wayne was immediately struck by the Ferrari bug and became addicted for life. Wayne’s interest has always been automobiles.

Wayne learned the craft of Ferrari repair from his master Francois Sicard, a former Ferrari racing technician widely regarded as the East Coast’s top Ferrari expert, and his personal friend Luigi Chinetti Jr., whose father Luigi Chinetti Sr. won the 1949 24 Hours of Le Man’s race.

Wayne has since owned and operated three businesses in Portland, Connecticut: F40 Motorsports, Continental Auto Ltd., and Carini Carozzeria.

They were looking for an automobile show, and they approached Wayne, impressed by his article in the Sunday NewYork Times. Then he had been in the show since 2008.

Wayne had roles in two hour-long television programs for Discovery’s HD Theater Channel before Chasing Classic Cars, including Monterey Week and The World’s Most Expensive Cars.
